Elections take place at the Annual Business Meeting of Members in Wroclaw, on 16 September, 2013 at 13:00 - 14:00

All ordinary members of the Academia Europaea who are in subscription (for 2012 and/or 2013) are eligible to stand as candidates for election:

There is an CALL for candidates for TWO (2) vacancies for independent members of the council.

• If more than two candidates stand: An election will take place by personal ballot of those present, at the Annual Business meeting of Academy members, to be held in Wroclaw on 16 September, 2013 at 13:00.
• Nominations (including self-nomination) are open to those members eligible to stand as candidates.
• An online nominations form can be found at this link
• The closing date for receipt of valid online nominations is midnight on 31st July.
